Thanks for wilymobastardo for including this one.
Such an incredibly stupid name, I adore it.
Pours very hazy and admirably fizzy, considering its elevated ABV. The head is tight and rocky, as white as my dreams.
The aroma is fruity, contemporary. Nothing really stands out other than that it's remarkably smooth for a beer that's so alcoholic--this smells like a rather run of the mill fruit-forward IPA, not like something that's nearly as strong as wine.
Tastes quite good. Sweet mango and juicy pears up front, moving into a middle and finish that's fairly reminiscent of the DIPAS of yore: thick, bitter, and yeasty. Here it actually does become distinguished from most contemporary big-IPAs in that there's actually a good balance between hops and malt.
