Tropical Nightfall is a velvety Imperial Stout that dons a midnight black hue and reveals unique notes along the sensory journey. With the addition of organic Sri Lanka bananas during primary fermentation plus organic Thai bananas, cacao from Ghana, and marshmallow during conditioning, the flavors of this beer echoes childhood memories of chocolate-covered bananas. Full body with a velvety mouthfeel, allowing this stout to warm up reveals all the complex nuances of baker’s chocolate, fudge, and amaretto-like flavors.

Great idea with the chocolate, bananas and marshmallow flavors. I would say the chocolate is very evident at the start and a distinct banana flavor at the finish. Not really sure I tasted the marshmallow or not, but this was a great beer from PP for sure.
