Who doesn't like peanut butter and chocolate? This was one of the first PP stouts I had tried and it opened my eyes to what stouts could actually be. Even though these 22oz bottles with >11% ABV end up being rocket fuel to a single person, its really getting hard to share with anyone anymore. Full flavor goodness.

I had this beer four times, thrice at the brewery in a taster, and once from the bottle. Seriously don't know how this amazing beer has not been reviewed --it's my favorite stout(out of all Imperial and Barrel aged) from this year (had Darkstar November, Macaroons before dying, speedway stout, barrel aged speedway stout, vanilla and madagascar espresso speedway stout, several Xocovesa, BB Peanut butter stouts, 3 different KBS stouts, and just about every barrel aged and non barrel aged stout from Pure Project), and out of all of those, I keep coming back again and again to Nocturnal Landscape-- it is so so good, rich, velvety, buttery but so balanced never has it left wanting to stop and rest at half bottle from Imperial stout fullness.

look- jet black
smell- fudge, peanut, marzipan
taste- subtle peanut, rich malty, slight marzipan, and a bit buttery, other buttery beer has left me feeling full, but the butteriness here is so balanced and drinkable
feel-velvety, malty
overall- 5/5, 100, I've had many great stouts (barrel aged and non-barrel aged from 7%-16% ABV) this year, and I thought I would put a barrel aged one ahead of this one in terms of drinking pleasure, but I can't, this one just does it for me.
