Corylux Batch 3 on tap at Pure Project/ Fifth Ave.
Outstanding BA Imp Stout rich with hazelnuts, cacao and a delicious Costa Rican coffee.
Look is a beautiful dark dense walnut with orange and cherry deeply blended in.
Nose is spectacular with fudge,oak, nuts and superb scent of coffee.
Taste is equally complex and delightful. Here the wood and vanilla arrive even more so.
Feel is just about perfect. Smooth and velvety with very subdued carbonation.
Overall, one of the best brews in this style that I have ever had. Outstanding craftsmanship.
