Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden yellow with a slight chill haze and a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Citrus zest, resinous, slightly herbal and grassy, a little underlying exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, and biscuity malt.
T: Resinous, slightly herbal, citrus zest, big grapefruit, plus lime and lemon, underlying exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, pineapple, blueberry, mango, white grape, apricot, and gooseberry, a touch grassy, biscuity malt, and a fairly dry finish.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, crisp.
O: Exactly the kinda thing I'd expect with these two breweries coming together; a proper Westy, and delightfully crushable. I wish the Nelson came through just a bit more, but everything does come together quite nicely. Definitely looking forward to trying the reciprocal collab next.

Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the Gordon thistle glass. Big aroma of honeydew melon and citrus peel. This is stupefyingly fruity and sweet. Overall this is too much of several good things gooped up. Too much like a New England hazy in flavor even to the resiny acidity, though it's crystal clear so no raw oats and weird grains. It's like an Orange Julius done with over-ripe melon and pear nectar. Hop candy. From the 16 oz can purchased at at O'Shea Brewing. Dated 04/23/24.
