i love this brewery, always jump on their stuff when i see it, scored this one on tap, a delicate and modern ipa, absolutely delicious, really well refined, super light on the grain side, mid level bitterness is all, interesting and with lots of movement, exceptional overall, drinks way light for its listed abv. mosaic cryo, strata, and centennial in this, a great combination and really well dosed. very blonde, quite clear, lighter than honey, looks pils-like to me, an inch of lasting white head hangs on top, some soft lace as it drinks, racing carbonation the whole time, gorgeous pour really, polished and minimal. the aroma is so fresh, killer mix of hops, i get some candied pineapple and dehydrated mango from the mosaic, a coconut note and a grassiness from the strata, and the more woodsy sappy character from the centennial, they come together so well, with the punchy mosaic out front, early starting being cryo, not overdone at all, very light grain balance, super clean ferment, almost lager-like to me in its quickness and tidiness, wonderful and fully contemporary. the flavor is just as good as the nose, little pops of different hop combinations come and go, the flavor climax is long but the whole drink is quick, lemongrass and key lime, tangerine, honeysuckle, lightly weedy but not in that overpowering dank way, this feels restrained even though its very hoppy, if that makes any sense, there is an almost feminine nature about it that is really appealing, pretty much gone on the swallow too in a nice rush of little bubbles. this is majorly drinkable and special to me, excellent overall quality, fantastic hop complexion, love the briskness it has, maybe cooler temperature fermentation contributing to that? it seems like it, and the light grain is just right, not lacking or missing anything there at all. worth seeking out.
