16 ounce can into a snifter. Don’t know if this was a 2021 or 2022 release. Had 8/4/23.
Pours a dark brown, opaque, with a quarter inch foamy head and a few specks of cling. Aromas of vanilla, marshmallow flavoring, chocolate, malt, light bourbon- though more as it warms. Similar flavors: vanilla, marshmallow flavoring, chocolate, malt, bourbon- again, a much bigger presence as it warms. Smooth, a very good fuller body, appropriately carbonated.
Best fully warmed, when the barrels shine and the artificial flavorings seem more natural.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours motor oil black with a relatively thin layer of brown head. The nose is pretty amazing. Marshmallow, bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, and a bit of pie crust.
The taste follows the nose nicely. Sweet toffee, marshmallow, vanilla, milk chocolate, some roasted malts, maple, molasses, and a bit of cinnamon. Bready malts, and a hint of banana.
Mouthfeel is thick and creamy, and the aftertaste is maple sweetness. Overall, a very nice pastry stout.
