Still on driveabout (walkabout on wheels) until tomorrow when the unusual suspects fly in 2 states from now. Working my way Westish and still have a few hours ahead of me but I’ve always got time for a what what stop. In a storefrontish industrial space alongside a residential neighborhood sunken below a main road off an expressway. Yeah, I blew right past all that and had to loop-a-de-do back…
Large vaulted ceiling room with gray/black walls. Concrete floors & a high corrugated ceiling with explosion light clusters, ductwork, & drop sound panels. Door & windowed sections to both sides of a center horizontal plank wall with a giant logo painting across from the bar, and windows looking in on the brew room.
On the back wall, a straight dark wood slat topped bar, light wood horizontal panel base, & piping foot rail. Seating for a dozen on wide wood squared stools. 15 non-descript wood chunk handles on a white subway tile barback wall section, and a logo piece above hugging a blackboardy patch listing draft selections chalked (Beer, style, ABV, pricing for a 4oz shorty & 12oz or 16oz full pour, and crowl, bottle, 4pk, or 6pk to go where applicable). Glassware shelved below, and a piping shelving piece with booze & a large speaker to one side. Spotty jar filament bulb drop lighting tracing the bar.
10 mix & match tables rectangle & square, and a corner couch & cushy set up. Barrels riddled about the room, potted plants and trees, light art, some shelved books for the reading of words and picture looking at, & a single flatscreen. Merch in the far corner of the bar and canned goods in a cooler for to-go.
15 taps; 6 of them along the hoppys range (CJS XPA, Extra Pale Ale, 5%; Paradigm Shift, Session IPA, 4.3%; Skinny Legs, IPA, 6.5%; Hazy Legs, Hazy IPA, 6.5%; Inverted Citra, DIPA, 8%; Experimental Developments, DIPA, 8%), a single Lager (Fixies, Single Hop Lager dry hopped with Styrian Wolf, 5%), a pair of Farmhouse offerings (Harrow, Saison, 6.5%; Method Acting, Biere de Garde, 8%), a pair of big boozy Stouts (Lick the Spoon, Brownie Batter Imperial Milk Stout, 12%; Knob Creek Rye, Single Barrel Imperial Stout, 13.5%), and 4 fruited Smoothie & Seltzer things (Pulpagogo, Guava, Mango, & Pineapple Smoothie Sour, 5%; Sticky Punch Pomegranate, Hard Seltzer, 7%; Sticky Punch Apricot, Hard Seltzer, 7%; Cherry Lemonade, Hard Seltzer, 7%).
Harrow, Saison, eh, okay; Method Acting, Biere de Garde, quite pleasant; Paradigm Shift, Session IPA, good citrus notes; Skinny Legs, IPA, West Coast, their flagship, floral, piney, this works; CJS XPA, Extra Pale Ale, some citrus there, eh; Fixies, Single Hop Lager started bright and went earthy, interesting, really woody & strange, but I liked it. I’m thinking Biere de Garde, Fixies, & Skinny Legs IPA for the Wins.
Decent crowd for a I don’t even know what day it is afternoon. Good tunes. Dog friendly, too. Look! There’s one right there! Joantending today, she’s dialed in and knows her wares. Pretty much drank through the styles that I would drink (Session and non-hazy IPA, Lager, Farmhouse) and have to get my going on.

Off the beaten track brewery in industrial area on the south side of town. Small narrow tasting room with bar along the back wall that seats about 10 and a few tables and couches about the room. 13 beers and a cider on tap, I liked both the ones I tried, as well as, the one I took home as a single can.

Really open, meaning no wall on one side. Upscale wicker patio furniture along the railing, on the open side, which overlooks the main street in the old Haymarket district. Had four samples and they were all so-so or less so.

one of the better brewery visits i have had lately, this place is pretty knew from what i understand, but they are really doing some great beers already. the place is a little hard to find, tucked away in a sort of industrial looking complex, but once you make it inside, its cozy and mellow. homey feeling, with a lot of wood featured, a long bar, some neat artwork, and several little seating areas, but its not a huge space. the huge space is in the back where the brewhouse is, it looks like they have a ton of capacity with room to grow! they had a big range of beers on, and i loved them all. the imperial stout with figs and coffee and cocoa was amazing, and i really liked the grisette they had as well. they use the coolest stemmed globe glasses, which is such a nice way to present beers like these, really adds to the enjoyment for me when a place uses the right glassware for the styles. the galaxy double ipa was great too, and they had some barrel aged and wild beers too! service was prompt enough and all, but really not anything special, they didnt want to chat about the beers, and seemed a little timid or something, weird personality trait for a bartender, but whatever. the beers speak for themselves in here, and of all the breweries i have been to in lincoln now, this is probably my favorite. their beers were awesome!

A new addition to the Lincoln brewery scene. The beers were all solid. They had about 10 or so on draft. The vibe was good. It's off the beaten path somewhat. Parking was plentiful. They do not serve food, and I am not sure if you can take food in or not. I definitely recommend visiting!
