5 oz pour at Monks Ale House.
Hazy blonde with a thin fingernail of head.
Aromas of hay and wheat and slight apple and pear and clove.
Flavors are obvious Belgian with clove, slight coriander, pear, wheat malt, and faint sweet lemon.
Feel is crisp and light.
Overall, I've had mostly every style on this planet but when I saw this I had to try it. Turns out it's just another beer under a different style name. This one was like a Tripel cut in thirds. Not bad, semi-tasty, but it's an easy turn-down for something more flavorful and more characteristically Belgian.
