Pours pitch black with a finger and a half of mocha head. Head dissipates fairly quickly leaving no lacing. Nose is sweet chocolate, brown sugar, apple, and hints of orange. Taste is very decadent, a combination of dark chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, apples, notes of sweet brandy and aged tobacco. Mouthfeel is thick, creamy, silky. Finish is sweet chocolate, cinnamon and trace amounts of chile heat as things linger. Fantastic.

Pours an effervescent cola/mahogany color with one pinky of mocha colored head. Viscous as Hell, below average head retention & lacing
S: Green Apples immediately once opened, Brandy Barrel notes, some cinnamon late
T: Follows the nose, cinnamon, leather, vanilla & cola up front. trace of citrus & black pepper & pepper heat. Molasses notes, cola, Apple Brandy. oaky notes dryness & rich dark chocolate & deep tobacco notes once this beer warms up. Finishes super-chewy with cinnamon, green apple Brandy & tobacco notes & traces of pepper heat
MF: Super chewy, restrained carbonation, warming. Carbonation picks up once warmer
How is this 13% ABV? So drinkable, while bringing flavor & complexity

White Elm Apple Brandy BA ¡CHAMPURRADO! Imperial Stout, 13% ABV. Pours thick and black with a one-finger brown head that left no lacing. Aroma is apple, cinnamon, and brandy. Taste is apple, cinnamon, brandy, slight chocolate, and peppers in the aftertaste. Decent thick mouthfeel, overall outstanding. I'm not a big fan of apple or pepper beers, but this is done well.
