White Elm Permanent Saturday Key Lime IPA, 6.5% ABV. Pours clear orange with a half-finger white head that dissipated quickly and left no lacing. Nose is lime, taste follows, plus lactose, more sweet than bitter. Didn't detect any key. The belch tasted better than the beer somehow. Creamy and smooth but under-carbonated, almost flat. Overall, the best you can say is inoffensive.

Poured from a tall can into a tulip.
Pours a slightly hazed medium gold with modest head and lacing.
Aromas of key lime are strong, as promised, with hints of honey-kissed malts and graham cracker.
The brew is....probably a milkshake IPA, without the usual haze. Very sweet and citrusy, with plenty of the promised key lime flavor. As the brew warms, some vanilla notes arrive as well. Very one-note in its flavor profile, and skewed incredibly sweet even for the style.
The brew doesn't look like a milkshake IPA, but it feels like one. Medium bodied, the brew has a very soft and creamy mouthfeel, with some solid acidity to offset the innate sweetness of the brew.
The brew delivers the advertised flavors, but lacks any complexity. Very sweet, even for the style. It almost seems like a fruity seltzer drink, like a key lime White Claw.

16 oz can
Goose Island Nonic Pint
Relatively clear and light colored blonde body with a creamy head of 1 finger, leaving nice hilly lace connected to the head.
Aroma is of lime zest and lime punch. Mouth watering.
Now this is interesting. I get the lime zest but it's way more funky than sweet, and some bready malt comes in to play, with some citrusy/grapefruity hops. I get the feeling this would be the result if you had an session IPA sitting there and your buddy spilled a generous splash of 7 up into your glass. It's very different.
Feel is crisp and relatively clean, with a semi-creaminess and a nice carbonation level.
Overall, enjoyable, but not totally sold on me. Right now I'll say only try it if you're truly curious.
