White Elm Single Barrel Stout, 13% ABV. Pours black with only a slight ring of brown bubbles. Nose is marshmallow, graham, and chocolate, taste follows, moderately sweet, almost no bitterness. Excellent mouthfeel, overall world-class. The beer they used is my favorite of theirs, Fluffaluffagus S'mores Stout. Wow! Unfortunately only one barrel was made, and it's only at one store. I expect they'll remake this one though.

12 oz can, brewed for Sioux Falls distributors using a Bourbon Barrel from JJ's Wine & Spirits. 60% Fluffaluffagus Marshmallow Stout, 40% Regular W.E. Imperial Stout.
Mine tonight is served in a Rogue Speigl.
Inky, thick, super thick black with a thin creamy head of 1/2 finger. Bubbly lace on top.
Aroma is wow. I mean wow. Glazed and caramelized pecans, blonde brownie, chocolate fudge syrup, strawberry bubble gum, strawberry ice cream, neopolitan ice cream, toasted marshmallow, apple pie with vanilla ice cream, sweet bourbon glaze. Incredible, incredible, wow, wow.
Apart from a little alcohol astringency, this beer is damn near perfect. Super sweet and viscous marshmallow creme with blonde brownie, toasted caramel pecan, neopolitan ice cream, chocolate, vanilla, and bourbon toasted caramel sweetness. Could easily be too sweet for some, but for me it's a contemplative sipper.
Feel is about as viscous as it gets. In the top 5 for sure, yet it still has wonderful carbonation throughout. Incredibly low alcohol burn for the percentage and the barrel here. Very smooth. Nice peppery heat on the finish.
Overall, could probably induce a diabetic coma, but one of the best BA stouts I've ever had, and I don't think any beer lover could complain much about this one.
