Solid black appearance with very light carbonation. Body is above average with a slick, thick, creamy feel which adds up to an excellent feel.
Aroma is peanut butter upfront followed by coffee, espresso beans, chocolate roasted malt and I swear what smells like jelly.
Taste is peanut butter foremost with coffee, roasted malt, slightly sweet with some chocolate. Theres also a marshmallow taste in there as well.
Overall it has an excellent body followed by equally impressive aroma and taste.

16 oz can
Pours mostly opaque black, dark brown tinge around the edges where light penetrates.
Aroma of chocolate, peanut butter, biscotti, and toast.
Flavor is fresh peanut butter, caramel, toffee, biscotti, cocoa, marshmallow, and toast.
Medium body, tingly carbonation on the tongue.
Nice dessert stout. Flavor is rich but not overly cloying. Drinks smooth. Worth trying, one of the better dessert stouts I've had in a little while.

16oz can into a pint glass. NO freshness dating. Tavour shipment.
Black with dark brown edges. Small white head quickly fizzes out, hence, no lacing.
Amazing aromas, dark chocolate, peanut butter, cocoa. Loving this.
On tasting, the flavors don't come through as strong as the nose would suggest. But it's very well balanced. There is a hint of bitterness that seems more hop related than roast.
The mouth is the letdown here. It's thin, even for a milk stout, coats the tongue a little, and has a faint metallic note. The chocolate peanut butter does push through in the finish, and it's not overly sweet. Faintly warm
Overall, still a good beer, but just misses a bit. Could have been outstanding.

16 oz can into "as directed" White Elm Willi Beecher glass ;-)
Has a really slick dark body with a fleeting red-brown head starting at 1 finger and receding to nothing.
The aroma is a peanut butter dream! It's your favorite peanut butter cereal, with peanut butter toast, peanut butter bars...just lovely stuff. There's also hints of earthy hop and some slight dirty water.
The flavor brings earthy dark malts, slight earthy hop, slight lemony hop, and then some thin peanut butter wafer with vanilla and then peanut hull. Finish is of cacao nibs, ethanol, lemony hop, and peanut butter/crust.
Feel is slick and highly carbonated, with lots of alcohol heat and more slickness on the finish.
Overall, I may be the odd man out here not having a love affair with this beer, but I'm pretty picky with my PB beers. There are better PB beers out there to be sure, but this one ain't bad. The curious person should try a single.
Price paid : $3.69 / can
Would buy again : maybe

White Elm PB Mood Imperial Milk Stout, 8% ABV. Pours thick and black, with a two finger light brown head that left no lacing. Nose is strong peanut butter and slighter chocolate. Taste follows plus lactose, slightly sweet, almost no bitterness. Excellent mouthfeel, overall world-class. Can't wait for a BA version.
