White Elm Single Barrel Blanton's Imperial Stout (barrel from Louise Hy-Vee Sioux Falls), 13% ABV. Pours thick and black, with a ring of brown bubbles. Nose is a wondrous bourbon, sweet chocolate and vanilla. Taste follows, real pleasant bourbon burn, moderately sweet, slightly bitter. Outstanding mouthfeel, overall other-world-class.
