White Elm Pulpagogo Cherry Cheesecake Fruited Sour, 5.5% ABV. Pours thick and dark red with a slight pink head that left puree residue. Nose is cherry, lactose, vanilla, cinnamon, and granola. Taste is cherry up front, vanilla, cream cheese, cinnamon, and granola, equally sweet and tart. Excellent thick and smooth mouthfeel, overall outstanding. I've had about 10 cheesecake beers and they seem to nail the cheesecake smell OR the taste, but never both. True to form, this one's strength is the nose, though the taste is still decent.
