Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. This iteration of the Helles is 4.8% ABV.
Appearance: nice golden hue with a clear body and lots of effervescence. Head is a thin finger of frothy ivory foam; I think it looks good!
Smell: yeasty aroma right out of the gate, with a fair dose of graininess and a light sweetness to the malt as well. Not bad, but it seems, like, overly yeasty.
Taste: grainy, toasty, biscuity malt, with a hint of an almost sour astringency, but with a decent dose of sweetness. Hops are light, and perhaps a bit grassy in character. It's not bad, but the biscuity element is not my favorite malt flavor.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body, but with a good level of carbonation and creaminess for the style.
Overall: a refreshing and tasty-enough helles, although it doesn't quite appeal to my personal palate.

16oz crowler filled on demand at the brewery for approximately $6 on April 4, 2020.
Poured into a pilsener glass, this was a beautiful gold color with excellent clarity. Lots of tiny bubbles were seen arcing skyward. Fairly thin, off-white head that dropped very quickly.
Grainy, bready and herbal nose. Like a pilsener but the breadiness of the malts was more pronounced.
An herbal, mildly bitter and grassy hoppiness was up front in the taste. It's quickly matched with a mildly sweet, bready maltiness. Lightly dry at the swallow.
Somewhere between light and medium in body. Carbonation was a little low. Finish was crisp and clean.
I think I prefer the pilsener style over the Helles, but both are very drinkable, especially on a warm day. WP does both styles excellently. Will drink again.

5 ounce taster from a flight at the brewery. Cloudy pale straw in appearance poured without any appreciable foam. Aroma is bready. Taste is malty and sweet.
