Poured a warm honey color and was topped with an off white head that dissipated quickly but left regular and sticky lacing.
The aroma was mild for my nose, but I did get a bit of pepper and biscuit.
The taste was solid, if unremarkable. Checked all the necessary boxes for Pilsners and even those for the Czech style and stayed in the lines while doing so. Enjoyable.
The feel was spot on, as in very beer like in carbonation and texture. Easy drinking, I could slam a few of these on any given day I suspect.
OA, may not be the best in the style, but it's a solid representation of the style. Good beer!

draught
Light, creamy white head. Light golden hue. Subtle, light toasted malt, a touch of yeast, and whiff of herbs, for the aroma. Light levels of light toasted malt, herbal/floral flavors along with a little bite.

a really technically solid, tasty, and drinkable glass of old world lager here, but they had a cool collaboration pils on tap when i was in that was made with triticale, and it was so full of character and dynamic, that this one really didnt compare. on a fresh palate though, this would be excellent by any standard, the other, more unique one just blew me away. its a shame, because this one is really good too, just a little more classic, what you would expect from a nice example of the style, an overall very good beer, highly drinkable, clean and dry, shining and radiant in the glass with awesome carbonation, and a very european profile to it. the yeast adds plenty of flavor to this, the beer is remarkably clean, and there is just enough of a bittering hop on it for it to be snappy, but this is less hoppy than other examples of the style, at least in terms of flavor. the grain is fresh and minimal, crackery and classic, and there are some nice earthy minerals coming through. its mighty refreshing to drink, a real gulping kind of beer, versatile too though, and quite professionally done. one of the better locally made lagers i had on my trip to spokane...
