16oz can purchased at the Whistle Punk taproom (hardly anyone seems to realise the brewery itself is actually in Newman Lake, Washington) for $6 on Thursday(?) evening. The can was in their fridge of to-go beers and is undated, but I don't think they've been offering it for more than a month or so. The non-standard half of the label features a really cool sunset photograph of the entrance to Whistle Punk's tap room in the alley right off of Monroe Street, near 1st Avenue in downtown Spokane.
Poured into a Mad Bomber IPA glass, this was a golden amber color that was rather chill-hazed. Good sized, off-white head that left lots of lace.
Tropical fruits, melons and citrus like hoppiness dominate the nose. Reminds me of a "new school" west coast IPA, like Bodhizafa.
Taste is similar to the more recent west coast IPAs like Bodhizafa as well. Bitter and piney but with it's sharpest edges filed down by a more sweet and fruity hop flavor. Mildly dry at the swallow.
Medium bodied, with a slightly oily mouthfeel.
Really nice drinking IPA. If this were on tap somewhere I think I could have several quite happily, depending on the transportation situation (I generally walk to WP-ah, the joys of having several excellent breweries and watering holes less than a mile away by foot). Oh, and let's not forget it's going to a worthy cause. Once I polish this off I'll be moving to another variation of All Together that was brewed in collaboration by SIX local breweries!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
