Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. No date on the can, but it was purchased a few days ago at the brewery.

Appearance: thick, hazy golden-yellow hue with a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.

Smell: lightly sweet aroma with a hop character that includes both bitter citrus peel and some slightly danker tropical aromas. Quite good!

Taste: sweet malt with orange peel, grapefruit, and passionfruit flavors. There’s a bit of an herbal earthiness at the end, as well; very interesting. It appeals to me.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonatoin and kind of a rough creaminess.

Overall: a very tasty hazy from the good folks at Whistle Punk.

Received via LIF associated with NBW BIF # 16 from woemad.
Poured a cloudy (not really hazy) in a yellow orange color that looks better than what those colors imply. The assertion of the head was simply one that wouldn’t be denied. Nearly white in color it was easily over an inch and climbing.
The aroma is normally lost on my damaged nose but this was quite noticeable and spoke of citrus and biscuits and hops bitterness which for me is amazing.
The taste followed- easily one of the tastiest NEIPAs I have had that was brewed in the west. Full citrus and melon with touches of toast with piney bitter providing an end point to keep it in bounds.
The feel was good, very good even. No hazy bits, floaties or other stuff that are often found in hazy NEIPAs. Enough body to carry the flavor, which is not a small thing.
OA, I have had a lot of beer claiming to be NEIPAs and a few of them are very close. This is one of those.
Thanks Fred!
