Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. No date on can, but purchased at the brewery a few days ago.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a light-ish haze and a finger of forthy ivory foam atop. Nice.
Smell: rather sweet with a bit of an old-school grapefruit rind aroma, along with a more earthy, herbal note. Classic.
Taste: sweet and toasty malt, with a balanced bitterness and more of those typical WCIPA grapefruit notes, with some earthy character and perhaps a bit of pininess as well. Not bad at all.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a moderate carbonation and decent creaminess.
Overall: a pretty solid WCDIPA. Nothing innovative here, but well-put-together.
