‘TWAS A DREAM
‘Twas A Dream is a Triple NEIPA brewed for Spokane Craft Beer Week with Another Beer Co. in New Westminster, B.C. The Hanson brothers brought beer week to Spokane many moons ago and wanted to celebrate its return with a cross boarder, brotherly collab. We brewed this beer with Linc Malt and hopped aggressively with over 12 lbs per bbl of Citra Cryo, Nelson Cryo, Motueka Hyperboost and Citra T90. Cheers to SCBW.

16oz tallboy can purchased at the downtown Spokane Whistle Punk tap room. No freshness date, but it states it was brewed for Spokane Beer Week, and that was a couple weeks ago. That, and the fact that it's 10.5% tells me it still should seem pretty fresh.
Poured into the glass, this was an entirely opaque, yellowish shade of amber. Big, pillowy, off-white head that hung around for some time. Lots of lace.
Rich aroma of hops that smell like tropical fruits and stone fruits.
Sweetly fruity up front. Reminiscent of mangoes and papaya, with a little bit of something akin to vanilla. Little bit of citrusy, pithy bitterness on the back end.
Medium bodied, with a creamy mouth feel.
Hitting the spot at the chimes of midnight after getting off work. Incredibly easy drinking stuff for a TIPA. Really enjoying it but also glad I've only got one. If I had another, I'd be tempted to hit it as well and I'd be utterly flattened when I wake up later this a.m.
