16oz tallboy can purchased at Whistle Punk East, in Millwood, WA. No freshness date.
Poured into a shaker pint glass, this was a staw-gold color, with a sudsy looking off-white head. Lots of lace.
Big, grapefruity blast of hops aroma.
Up front, it tasted exactly as forecast in the nose. Some stone fruits on the back end.
Medium bodied, with an oily, resiny mouth feel.
A nice WCIPA. Might not be everybody’s cup of tea, particularly hazy fans, but I dig it.
