16oz tallboy can purchased at Whistle Punk's taproom in downtown Spokane. No freshness date, but it's a FH release from this year, so it ain't old.
Poured into a faux IPA glass, this was a clear, golden amber color, with a big, sudsy, bone-white head. Tons of lace.
Big, citrusy hop aroma, accompanied by a dry, crackery malt aroma.
Citrusy, fruit-forwars hop flavor up front. Bitterness increases on the back end, but is surprisingly light. Finishes dry, almost lager-like.
Medium bodied, with an oily, resiny mouth feel.
Nice showcase for citra hops. Very easy drinking stuff.
