16oz tallboy can purchased at the source. No freshness date.
Somewhat pale, golden amber in appearance, with a big, creamy looking, bone-white head. Said head had impressive staying power. As it did slowly recede, a good display of sticky lace was seen.
Citrusy, lemon-like hop aroma. There's a whisper of crackery maltiness present as well.
Bright, lemony citrus flavors up front, with a corresponding amount of pithy bitterness. Ends rather dry. Refreshing on a warm day.
Body is somewhere between light and medium. Prickly, lightly oily mouth feel that is slightly crisp for something brewed with an ale yeast.
A nice pale ale for a warm day, which today happens to be. Not particularly high in alcohol, it could be useful for about 2-3 pints at your local with a friend.
