5oz pour at the brewery.
Pours a hazy dark yellow with a smallish head and thick, even, creamy lacing. Small amount of active carbonation. Smell is very mild, not getting much at all. If I work at it I get a little orange.
Taste is surprisingly boozy. Kind of dark, overripe tropical fruit. Fairly nondescript.
Mouthfeel is medium but very still. Overall, it's not bad, but I'm glad I got a sample and didn't double down. There are better beers here.

This was the third and last beer that I picked up at Interboro a week and a half ago. Sure, it was typical fare for them but it was like the Alpine Style Pilsner that was mentioned in it's description on their website as it was light, pillowy, and clean from start to finish. While not as crisp as that style, this was an easily accessible brew that came across as unassuming and accessible as anything that I've ever had from them.
Like lots of their other offerings, this had a cloudy, goldenrod hue to it that was uniform in appearance and topped off with a moderately sufficient head. Very little lacing remained as I worked my way through this as there was a discernible ring near the top with a few spotty splotches the rest of the way down the side of my pint glass. A good amount of mango and stone fruit dankness was in the nose as the peach, apricot, orange creamsicle, and subtle fruit cocktail notes emerged in the varied and appealing taste. Sweet and heavy on the palate at the same time, this was quietly deep and easily enjoyable as there were hints of whipped cream and citrus pith that helped to push the boundaries of this brew, as if there were two arrows going the opposite way at the same time...
Of course, this had booze but it was so understated that it was felt long before it was tasted on the palate. Canned on 10/1 with "ALPENGLOW BURY ME" with 10/1 written above it, there was no sediment to be seen in this as there were hints of white chocolate and dewy, fresh cut grass that emerged once this fully warmed up. This collaboration with Burial was described on their website as something "that you could throw in your knapsack when you headed to the higher elevations" as this was an apt description of the overall lightness that I felt while savoring this. While not a lager, this had a lot of the aspects of one with the depth and complexity of an ale. If you want a beer that straddles the line and will keep you "high", then reach for this. The hues on the label were indicative of how colorful and fun this turned out to be!
