On tap at the brewery on 06/04/17 served in a Byway tulip glass.
Look- A cloudy dark ruby red with a few centimeters of light pink foam. It quickly settles to form a thin ring leaving no lacing behind.
Smell- Tart raspberry and nothing else.
Taste- Tart juicy raspberry along with a little damp earth in the finish.
Feel- Not overtly tart/sour with a crisp dry finish.
Overall- While nothing complex or game changing, it is a very drinkable mildly sour raspberry dessert of a beer. I'd call it a slightly sour version of Founders Rubeus. Perfect for the warmer weather!
