Sparkling clear, light gold color in the glass; fairly dense, fine-bubble carbonation; thick, frothy, white head, dense and lasting; spidery webs and flecks of foam decorate the interior part of the glass. Nice if muted nose; very, very mild light malt backbone; not much else other than a mere suggestion of herbal tones. Fair taste; very delicate malt backbone blended with a dab of herbal hop flavor and nearly hidden hop bitterness. Medium-light body; smooth and delicately silky.
Overall, this comes across as a basic pilsner without little to distinguish it form others. Blue corn apparently is part of the mashbill, but from my perspective, I don't detect anything suggesting it -- not in the looks, not in the taste. Good overall, yet rather humdrum.

I rounded out my first night’s tasting tour at Bow and Arrow with their clean, easy-drinking blue corn lager. While I didn’t get a lot of the blue corn—or, honestly, might have realized it in the first place—I thought this did the job it said it would.

16oz tallboy can purchased at Community Pint, in Spokane, WA. No freshness date.
Poured into a 16oz dimpled mug, this was a perfectly clear golden amber. There was briefly a finger's worth of bone-white foam on top, but said head dropped very quickly, leaving a thin collar behind.
The nose was primarily of corn, which isn't that odd considering this is a pilsner brewed with blue corn. There's also a little bit of grassy hoppiness penetrating the walls of the olfactory.
Corny taste up front. There's also an herbal bitterness in the background. Finishes clean.
Mouthfeel was not overly crisp for something advertised as a pilsner, even a corn-adjuncted one. Seemed a little undercarbonated for the style.
An okay beer, neat for the novelty of having a beer from New Mexico (one more state scratched off the list), but otherwise not terribly interesting.

My first craft beer from New Mexico. Pours a light gold color with a minimal head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of spices and grains. Taste is peppery with a slightly bitter finish

L: Two finger head on a pale hazy yellow body.
S: Soft and sweet bready malt, hints of chalk, and sweet corn. Unique sweetness.
T: Follows the nose. Upfront there’s the corn, slightly sweet and vegetative, into the body with bread, a few grassy notes, bittering a bit as the hops come in. Pilsner malt towards the finish, and more corn on the aftertaste.
F: Moderate carb, a bit chalky on the tongue, leans toward a dry finish.
O: Thought it meant to be a true Pilsner before coming to post my review, and was a bit thrown off until then, but it makes more sense as an AAL. Which, considering it under the correct style, I have to say is very well done, and I wouldn’t have any qualms about picking up a 6er for a summer afternoon.

Crisp, refreshing corn Pilsner. Nice note of hops gives it some needed bitterness. Perfect beer on a 96F late summer day.

12oz can. No dating information found.
Clear, pale gold colored body. One finger of white head that quickly reduces to thin cap and ring. Leaves behind strings of lacing.
Aroma of corn malts and floral hops.
Taste is corn malt, biscuit, and earthy hops. All continue into the aftertaste.
Crisp and dry mouthfeel. Very good carbonation.
Very corny and quite dry.

L: Pours a very pale straw yellow with a large foamy head that dissipates rather quickly.
S: Notes of corn chips, some sweet malt and fresh grain and than a rather strong floral hop.
T: Corn Chips, toasted bread and malt, and then a very strong floral with hints of piney hops. This is a very hoppy lager.
F: Smooth and easy drinking.
O: There is a solid lager here but I think I would be better if the happiness was toned down a touch.

Can from Total Wine in ABQ, enjoyed a few days later in Riverside. Deliciously smooth with pizza.

This is a great blue corn Pils. Great for those who need a reduced gluten option but it just tastes great. Especially for its light ABV (4.9%)
