L: Pours a brilliant copper red with a medium white head and no lacing on the glass.
S: Sweet caramel and notes of malty sweetness, followed by a little toasted bread and lighter hops. The aroma leads me to believe that this beer will hew closer to the sweeter side of Oktoberfest beers.
T: Sweet malt and caramel lead to some light toasted bread and a light hop. Overall, this one is slightly sweeter than I usually prefer in an Oktoberfest but the sweetness works well in this one.
F: Medium body smooth carbonation
O: A little sweeter than I usually like my Oktoberfests but in this one the sweetness works.

Here at Bar Castañeda in Las Vegas, as I drove down to see the eclipse today. Never had anything from Bow & Arrow before as this was a pleasant surprise for this neck of the woods!
Loved the copper hue to this as quite clear although there wasn’t any head to be seen on top of the liquid. Only a few spots of lacing remained after each sip with a few hints of bubbly streams scattered around. Typical toasted and roasted notes to the soft aroma with some nuts, orange peel, and dark bread underneath that. Brown sugar, chestnut, and light spice emerged on the palate once this fully warmed up as this was full-bodied, easy to drink, and completely enjoyable from start to finish.
Cloying and a bit chewy in the aftertaste, it was refreshing to have a beer of this style that didn’t take any shortcuts and come across as too light. Hard to detect the hops or booze here although there was a nice slickness in the back, as it costed my mouth and teeth nicely. Glad to have stumbled across this, as it was a nice take on the style that had me wishing that I actually celebrated Octoberfest this year. The label was fitting for this timely brew!

Gorgeously clear copper body; light carbonation; thin, somewhat patch, white head; spotty broken rings of foam stick to the glass. Decent yet low-key malty aroma; light toasted grain with caramel notes. Rich roasted malt flavor; light brown sugar; a suggestion of nuttiness; very little hop bitterness. Medium-heavy body; a hint of stickiness; mild dryness.
While not the most impressive märzen out there, the taste is pretty good for the style and makes this a worthwhile beer to try.
