At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a Teku glass. From the Huron Church Rd. LCBO in nearby Windsor. Canned February 9/26. My 3rd beer from the Cambridge, Ontario brewery, and 1st for 2026. Fought over and stolen by Sundae the cat...

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Feb 9 2026 and served slightly chilled.

Pours a cloudy brassy-golden colour, initially capped with one finger of bumpy, foamy white head. Within two or three minutes, it has been worn down to a sudsy cap and collar, with a full curtain of attractive lace draped around the glass - looks great so far. I do get a hint of peach on the nose, but I wouldn't describe it as prominent; there are also notes of lemon, grapefruit and graininess.

A palatable beer with a peachy flavour that strikes me as mostly inauthentic. Aside from that, there's a bready pale malt backbone, as well as hints of grapefruit, lime and floral hops. Lightly floral & resiny on the back end, with a lingering astringency that clings to the tastebuds well into the aftertaste; it's actually rather subtle, but I noticed it after the first sip and it continued to bug me. Light in body, with potent carbonation that prickles the palate continuously; a crisp pale ale with adequate drinkability.

Final Grade: 3.83, a B+. It takes balls - possibly no less than eight of them - to name your beer Peach City, slap a giant peach on the label, and then not actually brew it with peaches. Rest assured, there are "natural flavours" involved, as well as a Euphorics concentrate (presumably Peachy Keen), both of which bestow a baseline level of peachiness to the profile. But it's not genuine, and barely noticeable enough to justify the theming. That being said, I still liked this pale ale - it's tasty, well-balanced and altogether much more enjoyable than the first half of this paragraph seems to suggest. I'd probably buy it again.

From a 473ml can packaged on 19/02/2026. Pored into a Pilsner glass. A three finger rocky head on a cloudy gold. Excellent head retention.

A clean citrus smell. The taste follows the nose. Soft grainy malts underlay the citrus hop. A moderate hop finish.

A medium/light body and good carbonation. Overall a fine American Pale Ale. True to the style, smooth and drinkable.
