Clear pale orange-tan color. Poured a short head that dropped to a patchy skiff in half a minute. Medium flow of tiny bubbles from the bottom of the glass. Left narrow rows of lacing.
Slightly sweet light roasted malt smell. Light floral perfume. Very light yeast funk with a hint of barnyard. Swirling the glass kicked up a stronger barnyard. Very light scent overall.
Light sweet flavor. Mild malt. Slightly floral hops. Mild bitters. Slight yeast tang. The aftertaste was a mix of light bitters and a bit of the hop florals.
Medium tongue tingling. Quickly turned to a coarse foam. Medium body.
Basic pale ale shows typical notes for the style. Nothing outstanding, but no real detractors. Even the barnyard is restrained.
