This farmhouse style sour ale was fermented with a blend of our favourite farmhouse ale yeast and sour culture for a lightly fruity, spicy sour base. We then dry-hopped with El Dorado hops adding big notes of tropical and candied fruit.

A farmhouse style sour.
Appearance - Pours a clear gold with four fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - spicy earthy, leafy, and citrus hops, tropical sourness, candied fruit, mango, guava, pineapple, passionfruit, papaya, and spicy earthy yeast.
Taste - spicy earthy, leafy, and citrus hops upfront. The tropical sourness alongside the mango, guava, pineapple, passionfruit, and papaya and candied fruit are very predominant making it true to its name. The spicy earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky and sour with all elements lingering.
Overall - For my first go at an offering from this brewery (I think), this brew certainly delivers a punch with the sourness. A bottle is fine for me as I'm not the biggest in the sour category. Nonetheless, worth a try for those sour lovers or if you're looking to try something different.
