Boasting huge amounts of peaches, apricots and fresh lemon zest, this bright golden sour is a tribute to our community and their love of our berry drenched dark sour. A mirror's inverse of the dark sour, it's warm sunlight on a cool day, easy laughter and longer days to come.

This gold is a sneaky one. The first sip floods your tastebuds with sour notes of delicious fruit. The mind begs for you to quickly follow up your first can with another and then another. It whispers sweet nothings in your ear. Before you know it all 4 tall boys are consumed. You start feeling funny. By the time 2am rolls around you wake up with sloshy burps and run to the downstairs bathroom to hug the toilet. The next morning you realize it was a strong beer, but damn delicious. 100% would do it again.

Our evening began
In Peter Sichel's comfortable study
In his New York townhouse
Where the candlelight was just right
The hi-fi was in the background
And the wine, was delicious
What's the secret, Peter?
Naturally, I'll say it's the wine
Mmmm, it does go well with the chicken!
Delicious again, Peter.

Poured from a 473ml can.
A nice looking pour and the nose is the best it has peach all over it.
The taste is rather thin with maybe a hint of lemon zest.
Drinkable but really needs work.

Murky tan color. Poured a medium sized head that dropped to a small patch of tiny bubbles within a minute. Too murky to see the carbonation level, but there is a medium flow of tiny bubbles appearing at the surface. Left no lacing.
The strongest smell is a sour funk with maybe a bit of lemon zest. There is a cooked peach smell taking up the second spot. Just a hint of light malt, turning this into a peach pie with a lot of sour funk. Swirling the glass kicked up a much stronger lemon zest, but the sour funk dominates. There is something spicy that burns my nose just a bit.
Tastes of bitter lemon zest and the sour funk. There is a bit of a burn from that odd spice; this is somewhere between dried ground ginger and ground cinnamon. Despite the sour, there is something in here that is sweet. There might be a hint of stonefruit, but not as obvious as the cooked peach in the smell. The aftertaste is bitter and sour. The funk takes over for a while, but quickly fades. There is a spice burn that builds up and hangs around for a long time afterwards.
Sharp tongue tingling as it foams up. Quickly turns into coarse bubbles. Light astringency.
I was left wanting something, but I can't tell what. It is unfortunate that the peach doesn't come through in the flavor after the promise in the scent. Despite the sour this seemed to have much too sugar sweet. The spice burn is very weird. I much preferred their Dark Sour.
