Inspired by the often spiced Chocolate of Mexico, this beer starts with a smooth dark base of pale, roasted and caramelized malts. Diverging from tradition we then added Vancouver Island sea salt, roasted cacao nibs, whole cinnamon sticks soaked in bourbon vanilla, and our own farm grown house roasted chili peppers. Transforming this simple porter into a slightly spicy, lightly sweet, chocolate forward delicious winter warmer.

Field House Brewing 'Mexican Chocolate Salted Porter' @ 6.0% , served from a 473 ml can
A-pour is a cola brown from the can to almost black in the glass with a small size tan head , dissipating into a minimal lace ring along the tulip
S-slightly spicy porter
T-sweet starting , pale roasted caramel malts plus Vancouver Island sea salt , interesting spicy swallow
MF-ok carbonation , big medium body
Ov-seems to be a salty style Field House enjoys making
