473ml can poured into tulip.
Looks pretty lame. Pours a bright, slightly hazy yellow with no head.
Smells as advertised. Store-bought key lime pie with whipped cream, fresh squeezed limeade, some nice crusty pale malt and faint grassy hops.
Tastes of lime pie filling, flaky pie crust, some creamy sweetness, sliced citrus fruit and more tame green hops.
Feels soft and mild. Medium bodied with frothy carbonation. Finishes off-sweet.
Verdict: Recommended. Started off pretty shaky, but ended up being a fairly nice sour. Probably even nicer if it wasn't starting to cool off outside.

A- Well, this one pours like a lime based soda....virtually no head initially, which disappears swiftly into nothingness, and with many aggressive columns of carbonation rising to the top! The color of the brew itself is a slightly hazy green gold hue, with yellow shades in the background....certainly looks like something that was made with limes!
S- Honestly the aromas found here are very muted overall and it is hard to get much of anything. What I do detect however is some tart citrusy lime, and perhaps some creamy pie crust. It seems very fresh but if anything it has that fresh lime juice smell about it, so maybe that is a sign of what is about to come?!
T- The flavors here follow suit to the aromas rather well, but it definitely shows off the creamsicle character that is printed on the label. Fresh lime juice, pulp and zest from the rind are balanced out by a sweeter vanilla cream roundness, and really, that is about all there is to this on the palate! Just simply a dessert like flavor profile that is kept in check by a very acceptable level of citric acid!
M/O- Surprisingly, this is creamier and more along a medium body, than I would have imagined. The carbonation, while aggressive and intimidating upon the look, while zesty, is a lot softer and the drinkability is much higher in the long term than I would have thought again! The alcohol is hidden well, and overall, this reminds me of a lightly sweetened key lime pie slice with some whipped cream topping.....I'm not a big sour fan, but this one is quite delightful....just wish the look and aromas were a little more robust than they are....not a real big deal though other than for the score here
