Looks: Pours a super hazy golden yellow-orange with a one-finger head, which fades quickly to a miniscule rim.
Smell: Lovely golden sour base, gives me orange, green grapes, lime zest, and pineapple, nice and funky with a little bit of booziness. Some peach is hiding in there too, but gets a bit lost in all the other flavours happening. The apple is nowhere to be found.
Taste: It's quite tasty, but there's something just slightly too bitter in the kitchen for this to reach its full potential as a sangria sour. Maybe the dry hop came through a bit too strong, maybe they were a bit heavy on the lime... who's to say? Minor gripe as it's still a very good sour, and besides the out-of-place bitterness, it accomplishes the sangria impression with aplomb. The citrus and grapes lead.the way, followed by pineapple and peach and the faintest hint of apple juice. Also the bitterness fades a bit as it warms...
Feel: Light-medium body with light carbonation, which is fitting. Surprisingly boozy for 7%, which takes the sangria illusion even further and harkens back to many a camping cooler filled with irresponsibly mixed concoctions.
Overall: Very good, and I'm quite happy with it, but it could have been truly great with just a couple tweaks.
