At 8.5%, this one’s bringing big hop energy without losing that clean, crushable edge. Vista + Mackenzie hops load it up with citrus brightness and a touch of West Coast pine, while the lager fermentation keeps it crisp and refreshing.

Poured from 568mL can that I picked up at the brewery into a dimpled mug. There’s a date stamp, but it’s inscrutable.
Appearance: bright, medium orange hue with a dash of haze and a thick, two-finger head of forthy dark-ivory foam. Nice!
Smell: sweet and resinous with a very citrus-rindey kind of aroma. It’s not bad; pretty much exactly what I expect out of a West Coast DIPA.
Taste: sweet and a bit heavy, but with a nice punch of citrus peel, a little slightly piney resin, and a pretty solid bitterness. I like this one.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a decent carbonation and an almost-syrupy creaminess.
Overall: I’m not always a fan of this style, but this beer’s freshness and punch have won me over. I dig it!

Poured from a 568ml tall can.
Pours a clear amber/copper with a very thick white head.
Pine resin and wet hay nose.
A clean crisp feel, the hops used give it a dank West Coast bitterness.
