Beers were not a standout here. The lady keeping bar was topnotch though. And the food offerings were quite good. The Goatman Porter was a pretty solid offering but the hoppy ones were rather unimpressive. maybe with a little time. I liked the place and would love to try them again.

Located on the main drag in Constantine in a very old, nicely remodeled building. The owner served us, and was kind enough to tell us much about the history of the building. The bar top is made from some of the original planks from the 1838 floor. Interesting place.

The beers were pretty good, the IPA and black IPA were both very nice. I also tried a red ale which I did not like as well, but could just be me. 6 or 7 different beers on tap . They also have their own wines.

The pizza we had here was the star of the show. The spent grain crust was fabulous, toppings plentiful, just the right amount of cheese. All for $15.

Will certainly return.
