On tap at the brewery.
The appearance was a nice looking golden yellow color with a little white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Barely any lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of sweet Belgian malts/Belgian sugars, the sweet side of the rye (but super faint), light traces of citrus and then a mild little bit of white bread.
The flavor was moderately sweet through the blend of the Belgian sweets to the rye. Some floral quality of the rye did start to come out slightly as it warmed. Moderate aftertaste of the Belgian malts.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt on par. Light finish of the Belgian malts.
Overall, it's a Belgian blond with rye in it, but I'll accept the style that is in the Beer Advcocate database. It's a good beer, fairly light and worthy to have with some food.
