On tap at the brewery.
The appearance was a nice looking dark brown close to black color, barely any head and barely any lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of roasty to bitter coffee sweet grounds. Some milk and dark chocolate nibs and a little bit of dark toast on the back end.
The flavor was moderately sweet with a mellow roast guiding the bitterness and allowing the light portions of dark and milk chocolate to flow evenly underneath. Mild aftertaste of the roast, dark toast and a touch of wafer.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt on par with a slight roasty to toasty sort of finish.
Overall, pretty nice American porter that I'd be willing to have again.
