Brewer describes this as an American Wheat Ale with peaches. Cloudy amber or even peach colored brew with a tall head in the Stella Artois goblet. Mouthfeel is sudsy and full. Sensation is definitely dry, there is barely a hint of sweetness though there is a malty taste. Some fruity aroma that does give a sense of peaches. A bit of astringency in the finish and even a mild but distinct bitter aftertate.
Easy to slurp and quite thirst-quenching. The overall effect is rather austere, with the tangy wheat taste overshadowing the mild fruit flavors. From the 16 oz can purchased at John's Marketplace, a treasure trove of semi-obscure Oregon beers. Dated 05/26/21.
