it's a fine mutt, with the following blurb:
"This sessionable mash-up of a Vienna amber, a Schwarzbier, and a British honey brown features aromas of roasty malt that give way to a smooth honey toast-like body and finishes with a touch of sweet smoke"
pours a smoky dark amber near-cola brown body with a burnt cream colored rocky coke-float-foam head that has high retention and leaves small patches of thick sudsy lacing behind as it settles to a rocky cap
aroma is smoke-tinged roasted nutty malt with low-grade bittering hops that enhance the earthiness of the nut-malt
taste follows that nose with a certain sweetness to the malt that rounds out the nutty and earthy notes of the nose
mouthfeel is medium-light body with mid-level carbonation, running somewhat crisp before finishing dry and earthy bittersweet
overall:
this true mutt stretches the definitions of the inspirations it takes serious notes from and creates something entirely new with elements that are also completely familiar. very well done with all the right references. it's malty, semi-sweet and nutty, with a roasted/smokiness as equal as the honeyed notes, with hop bittering notes to boot, that runs somewhat crisp but easy, with a definite dry finish that flashes with nutty notes. it's a full experience with impressive notations.
