Sabro, Citra, and Denali hops collide in a massive rush of citrus, coconut, & pineapple. A cerebral wave of lupulin-fueled mayhem.

It’s baaaack! 2023 pint can, fresh, into a can glass.,
Goldish orange, nice cap.
Nose is typical Florida citrus.
Taste is creamsicle hop juice with an alcohol bite.
Feel is medium heavy with moderate carbonation.
Overall.,. triple IPAs are the mid ‘23 rage and this is definately one of them. But when put next to a non-hazy TIPA, this effort is way short and falls into the realm of ‘just another’.,.

Excellent triple NE IPA! I love the Calusa NE style double and triples! However, my favorites have always been their triples. Juicy and full of flavor. This will not disappoint. Delicious!

Stronger than strong, but yet smoother than smooth, Calusa continues to exceed expectations while numbing the senses with a super-fueled IPA with all the halmarks of New England-styled IPA and also exploring the uniqueness of Sabro, Citra, and Denali hops.
Rich and creamy even to the eye, the beer's matte taupe pour hinges on orange and goldenrod while floating a creamy tarnish lather. A bold potpourri of citrus and tropical fruit roll of the nose with a fresh and doughy scent of wheat germ. Emboldened sweetness of honey, poundcake and vegemite coat the early palate with malt, and hiding the fact that there's ten-plus percent in alcohol present.
But the story quickly becomes the hops as the dense maltiness starts to dissolve and the floral fruity scent transitions to a full and fruity taste. Orange, mango, pineapple lead with way with a tropical taste before the citrusy tone brings orange, red grapefruit and a pep of lime, Nearly tangy with gooseberry, wine and juniper, the beer trends herbal, spicy and tea-like in a smooth bitterness late on the palate.
With a continued creaminess that's suggestive of coconut, cashew and cream, the strong IPA finishes sprucy with gin-like botanicals, a slim prickle of alcohol spice and along afterglow of bellini-like flavors with a beery undercurrent.

This is a solid beer. Nice and hazy. First thing that jumped out to me after I poured was the aroma. Fruity, flowery smells. You'd never know this beer is 10% until you start feeling it!

Blown away by how smooth this is for 10.5%. Usually these types of beers (from other breweries) are a boozy mess. Gorgeous nose of mango and pineapple. Flavor is popping with tropical fruits. No alcohol or hip burn on the back end, although some slight chalkiness. Overall, very impressive beer.
