On-tap at Brown Truck Brewery, High Point, NC
A: The beer is slightly hazy dark golden yellow in color and only has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger and a half high white head that quickly settled down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of fruity yeast are present in the nose along with hints of grainy malts.
T: The taste follows the smell, having fruity flavors of yeast along with hints of pale and grainy malts. No spices are detectable.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. No dryness is perceptible.
O: With the fruity yeast and lack of dryness, this beer tastes more like a farmhouse ale than a saison.
Serving type: on-tap
