For a guy that doesn’t enjoy sours, this one is quite nice. Pours an opaque goldish colour. Not much head. Bitter lemon smell. Sour and funky on the taste with just a hint of tart lemon. No blueberry notes, although advertised. Nicely bubbly

Tallboy from the LCBO; dated May 26 2021 and served barely chilled.
Pours hazy and turbid, its body an apricot yellow hue; atop is seated one finger of loose, soapy white suds that fizzles off within ninety seconds or so. A thin, nondescript collar is the only remnant - no lace, and only a few filmy wisps on the surface. It smells of blueberry muffin and blueberry flavouring, with notes of sweet lemonade, bready wheat, and faint lactic sourness. While it is unusually blueberry-focused for a beer described as a 'lemonade sour', I wouldn't call the aroma unappealing or anything like that.
It's a novelty beer, but it's not bad for what it is - I actually found the sugary lemonade qualities to be more prominent than the sourness, causing this to drink more like a fruit beer (or radler) than a sour IMO. Grainy, bready wheat malt sweetness and lemonade sugariness come through first, with hints of blueberry flavouring not far behind. Very mild lactic sourness near the finish, followed by a wheaty finish with more blueberry and lemonade; the aftertaste starts off tart and sugary, but trends off-dry. Light in body, with middling carbonation that provides a gentle bite to the brew's soft, somewhat fluffy mouthfeel. Easy to drink quickly, and possibly in multiples, though I personally found this to be a little too sweet for mass consumption.
Final Grade: 3.6, a B grade. Apologies for the confusing sentence I am about to type, but is there a market for sours for people who think sours are too sour? There very well could be, but I think Frank might've been better off marketing Lemonade Sour as a blueberry lemonade beer and de-emphasising the 'sour' angle - as it might inadvertently dissuade sour-haters from giving this fruity, not-particularly-sour brew a try. I didn't mind my glass, and wouldn't be opposed to drinking it again, but only if I were in the mood for a light fruit beer that leans to the sweet side.
