The nose bursts with fresh peach aromas, complemented by hints of hop-driven tropical and citrus fruit. The palate is well-balanced, with juicy fruit notes, soft maltiness and a hint of habanero adding a spicy kick! 42 IBU

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From the Huron Church Rd. LCBO in nearby Windsor. No date stamp or lot number. My 12th beer from the Tecumseh, Ontario brewery, and 1st for 2026. Remarkably recommended by Gracie the cat...

473 mL can from the LCBO; no canning date. Served slightly chilled.
Pours a hazy golden-orange colour; a modest sprinkling of sandy sediment swirls slowly throughout the liquid. It's topped with an inch of bumpy, foamy white head that settles off over the next five minutes or so, draping a full curtain of lace across the glass as it recedes; a tight collar and thin cap live on. Peach sticks out on the nose, but there are also notes of pineapple, orange, mango and habanero. If you're not noticing the pepper, try taking a whiff directly from the can.
It's a pretty solid IPA. Peach flavouring is noticeable early on, joined by hints of pineapple, bready malts, wheat and tangerine; the habanero begins to tickle the tongue with its peppery heat by mid-sip. Dank, floral hop bitterness comes through later on, with peach lasting through the finish and into the aftertaste; there's a bit of lingering habanero heat. I am fairly sensitive to chile peppers, but I would describe the heat here as 'restrained'. Medium-full in body, with low carbonation that weakly agitates the palate; smooth, soft mouthfeel with surprisingly high drinkability.
Final Grade: 3.99, a B+. I have occasionally wondered why the one-two punch of stone fruit and habanero has not become a more popular combo with brewers: I really believe that these two ingredients complement each other beautifully. She's A Spicy Peach only reinforces that belief. If you're worried about heat, don't be - its spiciness is low key, and not significant enough for this to be considered a real "chile beer". As always, there's room for improvement - e.g. the peach flavour isn't all that convincing in terms of authenticity - but I still think this is one of the best Frank products I've tried so far.
