Look: Rich, amber color, slightly red tint, with a solid, two finger head; translucent.
Smell: Hints of caramel/molasses and dried fruits
Taste: Exceptional; strong, malty flavor with a slightly sweet and smokey tang; hints of caramel and molasses; low hops.
Mouth Feel: Medium bodied and slightly sharp with moderate carbonation; feels good going down, but not all that heavy; very drinkable for 7.4%.
Overall: This is an excellent medium-bodied Scottish Ale, one of the best I have had. With its bold flavor and relative drinkability, this beer really does whoop some serious arse!
