Imperial Knight was a bold Russian imperial stout, a deep, dark, coffee with just a touch of hop. Even before being barrel aged, this beer clocked in above 9% ABV. Now we have an Imperial soldier; big, strong, robust and complex that was more than ready to get out of these barrels. Good, no great, to the last drop with a smooth and mellow finish.
