We roasted 400 pounds of locally-grown pumpkins for the mash to actually put pumpkin flavor in our beer, adding to the specialty grain bill which provides hints of caramel and dried fruit flavors. It is slightly sweet with subtle fall spices and dark orange in color just like a pumpkin.
