Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a lightly hazed orange amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head has a decent level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave some streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew a nice mix of tropical fruits of pineapple, tangerine and pineapple and some bready and grapefruit hop smells. Along with these aromas comes some pine, yeast, and herb as well as a little bit of grass.
Taste – The taste begins with a mix of a doughy and cracker body that has a decent showing of tropical fruit sweetness as well as some pine upfront. As the taste advances the pine gets slightly stronger and is joined by some grapefruit and herbal hop tastes. At the end the sweetness increases just a tad, while the bready decreases a little bit, and with a little bit of grass and yeast coming to the tongue, one is left with a slightly sweet and crisp hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the average to slightly thinner side with a carbonation level that is a little on the lower side. For the sweeter tastes, moderate hop, and more crackery and light bready taste the feel is nice and makes for a very easy drinker.
Overall –A rather enjoyable and easy drinking brew that has a nice flavor profile and feel.
