fabulous kolsch here, on tap at the brewery, amazing attention to detail, cleanness, and brightness, flavorful and classic, fresh and european, drinkable to oblivion, and among the best beers ive ever had from these guys, wow, they should be proud of this one, and it hit especially nicely on a hangover where i didnt even really want a beer, amazing how a good beer can turn your day around! this is splendid overall, radiant yellow, immaculately clear and shining , super polished, high white headed, airy and pure, racing bubbles. the aroma and flavor on this are identical, very fresh, awesome german malt character here, light as it is, its very classic, and it has that cold conditioned tightness and crispness, trace white floral sweetness and noble hop balance late, this is grain driven but delicate, well proportioned, and masterful in quality, drinks like a quenching lager, retains some old world authenticity, and is gone on the swallow. light to medium light body, effervescent and racy to drink, mellow sweetness, and a seriously killer companion to their delicious fish and chips, the fried and the salt are washed clean by this each bite and sip, beautiful. a style we are seeing more and more american breweries take swings at, and this is ahead of most of them by miles, a really solid rendition and something i could happily drink every day. fresh and tidy, truly expert, one of their best!
